Any one have any serious suggestions what business I could start?

I have access to an office, phone lines and the internet. But, I dont have any cash to invest in anything. Any good services I could provide? I was considering drop shipping. Would I need cash up front for this? I am a single mum and need to start making decent cash quick, not afraid of hard work. I have an excellent business idea, but not the cash to have it manufactured. Who could I look at selling this idea to? I have had it patented. Only serious suggestions please, I dont have time for time wasters. Thanks

Answer:
If you are thinking of setting up business with a low investment cost, I would suggest that you could startup an online business. With a properly setup system and correct web marketing strategies, you could easily start to earn passive income.

The process could be fully automated as the technology is there. And you could work at your flexible time.

There are a lot of online business model such as selling phyiscal or digital products, buying and selling domain names, affilitate marketing, auctions, paid newsletter or websites and many more.

You should also adopt a good marketing strategies. You could 1) buy traffic 2) steal traffic or 3) build traffic. All the techniques will allow you to get more visitor to visit your webpage and eventually buy the product or services from you. I am currently using 2)and 3) as they are cheap and some of them free.

To find out more about it, you could get to the below link and it will tell you exactly what are the steps to setup an successful online business regardless of your experience and background. It will also tell you what are those steps, the reason behind each step, how you could go about it and where to get the necessary resources free or at a very low cost.

Hope that you will find useful
i would say, to start any business you will need cahs for the initial start up fee. you could get a small business loan, or investigate other forms of finance?

As for types of business, do what you know, no point diving into providing a product or service you know nothing about? also what ever you decide, check out the competition first. make sure you have a viable idea and stratergy. i personally don't think starting your own business is the way to make lots of money fast, it will be a long process to get it right first time and make it a sucess.

Good luck what ever you decide to do.
Congratulations! You must have done something correctly to own a patent.

Question: "How do you eat an elephant?"
Answer: "One bite at a time."

In all honesty, unless an idea is developed into something real and tangible, "ideas are a dime a dozen."

To get to the core of the matter: Most people basically want these:
1] some thing [a physical object or procedure] and/or
2] someone [who has the skills or has the ability and means to provide the skills and his/her/their services] to save time, money and confusion.
3] At a reasonable price.
Do your best never to sell yourself short

In other words: Find a need --- THEN fill that need.

In a very quiet place, with no TV, radio or any other thought-interrupting, outside influence, you should sit down. Write-down ALL those things you totally enjoy doing. Design a general business plan for those items on your list.

In your plan you should include a rough idea with whom you could call on - preferably live and
in-person - to present your idea - with "a pitch" and a presentation -
and hopefully make the sale.

THEN the "leg work" starts:
Getting your business cards printed. In the beginning the computer-generated cards may work for you. However, most professional people have good cards on good card stock with raised/embossed lettering.

You should design your letterhead, envelopes and billheads based on the abilities of what your computer can do at the present time.

"Sell the sizzle - not the steak."
As the last line of your question states, "Only serious suggestions please. I dont have time for time wasters. Thanks." Your letter should be no more than one side of one page of a standard letter-size sheet of paper. NO ONE wants to read through pages and pages of general garbage.

FIND OUT THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE YOU NEED TO CALL AND CALL ON. How? Go to the library AND/OR go online and do the research.

PLEASE DON'T WRITE LETTERS TO
"Dear Business Owner" OR
"Dear Person In-charge of Shipping", etc.
Believe me: Nothing finds its way faster to the paper shredder or recycle pile, than a mass-produced, general language letter.

Your percentage of success - actuslly having a response to your letter or phone call - should be about 1 in 100 or higher.
Many times your letter will never be read. Many times your phone calls will never be returned.
Rejection is part of life.Learn to accept it. Learn to adjust to it. Learn to deal with it.
Remember this [It may help you through the rough times]: SW3 - N!
Some Will. Some Won't. So What. Next!!

Call or write to those people

At the very least, at the meeting, they could possibly tell you what else you need to do to have that particular concept "tweaked" work for them.

I hope this didn't "waste" your time. I certainly didn't want to waste my valuable time, either.

I wish you well.
