I am interested in knowing if anyone has ever heard of someone writing a letter explaining why they would be a good investment to a company and receiving a grant or fund for college. Not like applying for a scholarship and receiving money but writing a sincere letter, and the company responding in a positive way. Lets say the student is a Finance major and sent a letter to a Financial Firm requesting that they invest in this students college education in the promise that the student will excel. The student has apllied to multiple scholarships and received slim to none. Let me know your thoughts!
Actually, many companies will reimburse workers for enrolling in schools. Certain courses will be paid for, and others are excluded. You should check with your employer. I know that UPS has a program like this.
