I'm an undergrad psychology major and health & human wellness minor, and I'm planning to become a psychologist specializing in behavioral abnormalities, but I'm also really interested in holistic health. Are there many occupations or work environments that integrate the two things? Any useful information?
Change your Major to medical, become a M.D., minor in psychology. That will allow you a more complete picture of the patients presenting problem, an make for a better diagnosis.
generally these day, most psychologists and counsellor's use the holistic approach, but it is sutler and in the background. check with the medical professionals in your area, they may have the information that you are looking, the Australian hypnosis society may have that information, the nurses association.
Hope this helps
