Odd how the Arnold flip flopped on this issue
Just 4-5 months ago he said he couldnt support this type of healthcare. Now he is pushing it.
As far as congressional plans well the prescription plan Nancy Pelosi was touting as soon as she became speaker doesnt look so good.
analysis of it by Dr Benjamin Zycher of the Manhattan Institute for Policy research
And Dr Paul Howard regarding Bush medical plan just after last years state of the union address
This might give you an idea as to what kinds of ideas might work and what wont.
I do not want the government to screw up the health care that I have. Yes it is expensive and yes we all should have it , but, I do not trust our government to handle it without screwing it up.
Deletion tip #4 - act Liberal.
I agree with healthcare 100%

havnt u heard gov arnolds new health care proposal listen to kfi am 640 for update
Health care is a problem for a free market, NOT government. Never government. Look into Canada and Cuba's health care systems, and witness for yourself the inefficiency that defines socialized health care.
Government is a bit like King Midas. Everything they touch turns to crap. To want them to take care of you is to want to give up your freedom and individuality. No thanks.
Health care is not the responsibility for the government to provide for all. Government intervention into our economy almost always screws it up.
The govt sees the large payroll deductions people are willing to pay for health care that comes out of peoples paychecks. Many times this dedection is larger than what they pay in Fica and Income tax. The Gov't realizes that if this money went to them instead of the healthcare companies they could vote themselves enormous pay raises grease their pockets and fund their pet pork projects as well as a large beauracracy to administer their new system. The whole idea is to make people dependent on government.
As Mel Gibson stated in Brave Heart, You think these people exist to provide you with possessions, I think your posession exist to provide these people with freedom.
Yes there is a problem with the average Joe being able to afford to pay these large premiums. The solution is definiteley not the government administering it.
I think the government should stay out of it. I have been paying my health insurance premiums for years and believe everyone else who wants health care should also. Our Doctors are the best in the world because of their ability to conduct their business in a free economy. I have been in countries with socialized medicine, the care just isn't the same quality. The best way to destroy our quality of health care is to socialize it for a bunch of lazy freeloaders.
Yes, you are missing it. Try watching PBS's The Newshour and some CSPAN. You aren't going to get it on any cable news because insurance companies are lobbying against the ppl learning about this big time.
Just two days ago, Hillary gave a speech that was on CSPAN about her healthcare plan.
