How many HD channels will I get with a HD antenna?

If you have a HD TV with a HD tuner and you connect it to your roof antenna, you can pick up as many HD channels as there are in your area. Where I am, only 2 are broadcasting in HD right now.
There no such thing as a HD antenna. The antenna for analog and digital broadcast is the same because the frequency and bandwidth of the radio transmission is the same.
What you need is a digital decoder to decode the digital signals that will be coming through your antenna.
Even though the signal may be digital, it doesn't mean it will be HD. Only a small number of the digital broadcast channels are HD. Most are SD (Standard Definition).
We get about 10 digital channels where we live.
